Balance, locomotion, and low-level motor execution operate autonomously, but every decision and every action in a match originates from the human pilot. In ARC, the humanoid is an extension of its pilot — the pilot wills, the avatar executes.

No. No action in an ARC match is scripted or choreographed. Every movement is driven live by a human pilot and executed in real time by their avatar. The outcome of each fight is determined by the pilot's decisions and the depth of the bond between pilot and avatar.

ARC differs from other robot combat formats in two significant respects.

First, ARC exists to cultivate a symbiotic relationship between humans and humanoids — a partnership, a brotherhood, a unity between pilot and avatar. Where other combat events treat the humanoid as either an instrument of human will or an autonomous actor independent of it, ARC treats pilot and avatar as a single competing being, forged through shared training and tested in the arena. Each pair deepens over time: the avatar comes to move with its pilot's rhythm; the pilot comes to trust the avatar's judgment; the two begin to act as one. ARC matches are not fights between robots. They are contests between partnerships.

Second, ARC hosts the world's first benchmark games tailored to humanoid capability. Powered by Katena, these tests measure performance across six metrics critical to a humanoid's utility — from industrial deployment to its integration into daily life: Speed, Power, Precision, Stability, Endurance, and Intelligence. The benchmark games establish the first objective, public standard for comparing humanoids across Creators.
